Hello everyone! I found this forum while researching carpet pythons. I've been on the fence for a month or two but looks like I'll be taking the leap.

My current snake family consists of about 30 or so corn snakes, 2.0 normal ball pythons and 0.1 spotted python. I also have 2.1 dogs, 1.1 cats, way too many African Clawed Frogs and 1.0 iguana. The human family consists of my boyfriend and 1.1 kids.

Hoping to learn lots here! :)

Solana

Thanks guys! I had a link directly to pictures of my collection on iHerp as part of my signature but I guess that isn't allowed here? Will try to post some pictures when I have some free time.

You may link photos, but I just checked and iHerp is another forum, I can't think of any forums that allow advertising of another forum, so please no hotlinks to the home page. ;)

Oh I definitely know how to link photos, but my iherp page is just sort of the facebook for the pets where you can see all the babies at once. I can like images of certain pets here and there, but it would take a while to post up 35 snakes........and counting! :)

The first time my mom visited my snakes, I'm telling her how nice and gentle they are. So she reached her hand out for Pumpkin and CHOMP! She tagged her pretty good! She hasn't even bit me so imagine how embarrassed I was!

Welcome and wow you have some gorgeous snakes!!! I was looking at your snow corn and your lavender snow and they are so close in color. I have what I'm referring to as a snow corn, but the guy I get my snakes from said his corn breeder referred to him as a lavender snow. Since you have both, can you tell me what the main difference is in color between the two when looking at both? I can't tell much difference at all just looking at the pics.

Thanks guys!

Kat, which 2 were you referring to that looked similar? I only have one snow, but he is a hypo snow and will probably retain some of his pink through adulthood. I haven't actually heard of a lavender snow.
