Been cutting down on my online time lately, but with the crappy weather and my wife working, not much else to do but take snake pictures. :yeswink-1:
I cleaned Cornelius' tank, and he was perched so nicely on his branch.

Wow what a gorgeous snake! I've never seen a JB before today, I think I'll definitely have to look into getting one myself.

Thanks everyone! Not trying to discourage anyone, but Jamaicans are CITES I (ie, endangered), so they might be difficult to get. In the US, one has to live in the same state as the breeder/seller or have some sort of special permit. Not sure of the rules in other countries. These laws are really stupid and counterproductive, but something to be aware of. :(
Thanks again,
Ed

Mhm Stephan was telling me. I'd still go through all the trouble just to own one, they are such brilliant looking snakes. I love the patterns, even if they'd be extremely hard to sell the babies, I still think I'd like to breed them. I'll definitely have to look into the laws for Canada before I even start to think about getting them though, so that'll be more of a future plan.

Gorgeous Jamaican boa, Ed! They are one of my favorite species, but I doubt I'll ever be able to afford the permits or the snake. *sigh*

Thanks Kimberly! I don't know of any breeders in Pennsylvania, but if I hear of one I'll let you know. I'm hoping prices on these guys will come down a bit since there have been a fair amount of litters this year, but who knows.
