Wow that's a huge tank for a T. Do people usually use enclosures that big for them?

Its not functional for the species your keeping. Or any really for that matter, its way to big, at least from the looks of it in the picture. Im not sure but i think i recall you saying you were getting a spiderling pink toe? If thats the case a small plastic deli cup/tub or a plastic jar would be your best option. You need to be thinking in terms of height not floor space. For a spiderling pink toe id provide no more than 6" of floor space with not much more then 7-8 inches high.

the pink toe that my local rep shop had on hold for me died due to splitting its leg and bleeding out during its molting, so i have a chilean rose sling instead which is currently in the tub closest to the bark and he/she wont be going into the main tank until i have another to put into the tank together. the tank itself is an old juwel rekord 120 which measures: 101cm long x 27cm wide x 40cm high and has a volume of 120 litres, with 4-5 inches of soil as a substrate with the plants that you see in the pictures.

several things wrong here..

1) WAY to big, better term.. Improper housing.
2) If you put two rose hairs together, shortly after you will only have one.
3) Take a moment and research what you've got going on here.
