Continuing our “new arrivals” profiles, next up is a seven-month old male. While his color may not be a Tier 1 stunner, that is not the reason we acquired him: rather, it is his pattern. He is an excellent example of the bullseye line…but he comes from a completely *different* lineage than our bullseye females. That should give us some amazing bullseye babies in a few years. Of note, he also has a single black spot on each side of his body…I’m thinking maybe a pirate name? ;-) As of his very first weigh-in with us this past July, he was 60 grams.
Here he is as of his early July arrival at Living Gems:
The box is opened…and who is peering up at me?

If I stay under the paper, you can’t see me!

OK, fine, you *can* see me….

…but you better not start anything you can’t finish….

After all that, he turned out to be a real sweetheart (so far)…though he takes a little coaxing to get to eat....
Thank you for reading,
