Am I the only one who finds this idiotic. Besides the fact that the retic is going to great lengths to get away and not bite, the risk is still there. Not to mention the strength of that animal can easily kill the child, or harm it before the parents can intervene.
Not sure how I should be reacting but anger is my first emotion.DiJvYXZLDko

Extremely idiotic the child could easily get hurt not to mention he looks likes he's hurting the snake handling it. The parents are just letting him disturb the animal without regards for the snake -_- I wouldn't even trust myself with a retic, even of that size, let alone a small child.

There (3rd world countries) customs and way of life differ greatly from ours. This is just one example of it.. I wouldn't let it get to you.

It is sad because it looks like the snake just wants to get away. Not once did the snake show any aggression. Just like KD35WIN said, its a different culture. Lets just hope they let the snake be after the video.

Not the smartest thing in the world and I'm not condoning it, but I'm not the owner of the snake or the parent of the child, so it's hard for me to judge the situation too harshly. But there's no way that snake would be able to kill the child with the parents standing a few feet away. My worry would be more for the snake than the child, but then again I'm a snake lover; that snake might be dinner for them.

A retic that size is stronger most people think. Not saying it could strangulate the kid but given the size of its teeth, a well placed bite to the neck could do some damage, not to mention face.

This. Different country, different culture.
This video is a lot nicer than some I've seen regarding snakes in other countries...

What a sweet snake no matter where you are from you would think that with all animals there should be a bit of respect. wish I could call cps and bring that pretty snakey home!

sadly - No CPS over there, a lot of young ladies are prostitutes by age 12.
