Ok so I was surfing cl last night and came across an ad titled " 2 snakes -
10$" opened it and all it said was must go tonight.
I emailed them stating we could take them depending on how large they were and asking what kinds of snakes they are. We eventually find out they are cornsnakes and set up a meeting place.
When we get there she has them in a small tub they are about 2' and look great. I almost busted out laughing when she put on gardening gloves to pick one up! Any way she starts to tell me they've bred and she's already laid eggs. Is this ok for her size? I checked and I don't feel anymore eggs in her

Eggs at that size can be harmful for the snake if not kept well, however I have had some females given to me that have laid eggs at 2ft, and been successful.

She should be ok.

Congrats on the new additions. As the other members have said above, she will probably be fine, just keep a close eye on her and watch for any signs of egg binding. It may be helpful to provide her with a laybox, just in case. I kinda freaked out when my female laid slugs, but she ended up being fine, just a little grumpy. :)

Yeah I second the laybox just in case. Just cut a hole to get in a cheap tupperware or even a box and throw some peat slightly damp in there. It should help her decide to lay if she has any more hopefully. If she has any trouble feeding I'd keep a really close eye for binding.
