Hi everyone,

Just wanted to ask some advice. I have an 8 month JCP so wont be upgrading his viv for quite a while yet but was wanting some advice for when I do. This is my first JCP so want to get it right!

Would really like to get something that fits in with my furniture in my home and so was looking at black vivs.

Have uploaded some pics. Can any JCP experts out there tell me which ones you would think would be best. Have looked at the Saburra 669 (first pic) or the RTT669 which is clear glass (second pic). Is a complete glass viv a bad move? Is it hard to keep temps and humidity right? Finally, do I just go for a 4ftx2ftx2ft viv like in the third pic?

Any advice will be very much appreciated!!!

:)

as long as its not a nervous eater,i'd go for a 4x2x2ft viv as it will do it the rest of its life

just make sure theres plenty branches, hides and fake plants and he will thrive in there

i keep all my carpets in 4x2x2ft vivs

re humidity
you live in the uk and room humidity does all carpets just fine (carpets have no specific humidity requirements)

cheers shaun

I went for more vertical space for my JCP but to be honest he doesnt use th e top half at all so if i was to replace it in future i would most likely go for the 4x2x2foot viv.

My JCP uses every aspect of his cage. At night he climbs all over the vines and branches, and during the day he sleeps under his hide. Personally I like the first two photos, but the last one works just as well. Who manufactures that stand, btw?

The first two are Reptile One but the 4 x 2 x 2 viv is just a custom made one. Would get one made similar to that. Thanks for all your responses. They are much appreciated :)
