So Ive been pestering my husband for a breeding pair of bloods. and he has finally agreed  yay!!! Ive found some for a decent price and although it will be a while before they are old enough to breed Im still stoked. Im tryin to read all the care sheets and posts I can about them which seem pretty straight forward but was wondering if anyone who keeps these gorgeous snakeys might have some knowlege that isnt typically in care sheets.
I hear that they can be nippy. The ones Im thinking of getting are farm bred so not wild caught. I know from past experience farm bred can typically come with internal parasites but they claim the animals come with health certificates.

You know what's better than farm bred? Captive bred. Down in the states they aren't a difficult snake species to find anymore. Easily shipped too! I would look into that before farm bred just because then you don't need to worry about internal parasites at all.

These snakes tend to be picky when it comes to food. Things gotta be just right or they tend to not eat so be careful!

It's a good idea to get any new animal vet checked right away.
They can be nippy but they can also be dog tame, depends on the animal. Its their strike that is scary, closer to a retic then anything else :P Lots of power for such a small animal.
