Met up with Kat in Bayshore to talk/walk, ended up in Andrew Haden Park and chased some ducks/geese around, when I spotted a RES peaking out of the grasses in the water... I decided to leap about 7 feet into water where I couldn't see the bottom (too many weeds and wayyy too murky) and caught more then I expected lol. Got the RES and a bunch of glass in my foot, Kat removed most of it. Anyway... it got pretty nasty by last night so I went on a cutting spree removing all necrotic tissue, its doing great now.

Lesson learned, don't jump when you cant see the bottom :P

They do, but on the bright side I got the RES! failure sucks without success!

hahahha RES... Im guessing is a Red Eared Slider...? doesnt seem worth it lol.

Was totally worth it, got to see Katrina bend over while she went to work on my foot.

(God shes going to kick my hiney for that statement, cant wait!) lol

Wahaha I definitely want to be there when she does.. Maybe I'll give her a hand..

Can't wait to go herping though :D

It would have been allot better but I spent all day on my feet today... we drove for 3 hours to go pick up a male adult Taiwan beauty... we get there and its an 11 inch FEMALE with a kink that was sure to be fatal... Right side of the jaw was folded into the head...
Waste of a trip, and I saw an animal I would have culled the second it hatched.
