Well Long Story Short the Wife Finally Agreed to letting me get another Snake after a 6 year Hiatus.

Was looking at a ball again but after some time on some forums and reading decided I wanted a little more active snake. So Carpet Python it is.

Have had all kinds of animals all my life. So This will be a new adventure but one im looking forward to.

Welcome to the forums, Carpet pythons are a great choice if you take the time to give them a terrarium that can climb in.
Please research hook training, and start early. It will stop most potential grief in the future.

I chose a coastal carpet for my first snake and i loved her so much, now i have 6 snakes! What kind are you getting/do you have? Whichever u choose i'm sure you'll enjoy it!

@Stephan-I heard carpets lovd climbing and built an arboreal enclosure, but it's rarely in use. Maybe once every week, usually after feeding, nesta will chill in her branches for about 2 hours. I think it's to get a little extra heat for digestion. I also know carpets that rarely touch the ground, so i guess it just depends on your snake. Either way, carepts rock :)
