Keep an eye on classifieds this year. I think bee boys will see a dip in their price. $400 will probably be average I think.

They might not answer since they want a PM only to talk about selling and such...

Who knows why people sell, sometimes things happen. I know a lot of people toss around BPs a lot when switching projects etc, I wouldn't be shocked if he's changing out the bee for a spinner blast or something.

A Bumble Bee morph is a Spider and a Pastel correct?
Now when breeding is it better to have the female or male be one type or the other to get the desired offspring? Or since the clutch is going to be a mix anyways is it indifferent?

yes you need a spider and pastel to make a bumblebee and it does not matter which one is maile or female. but i would get a pastel female because they are cheaper then a spider female.

I love that snake, I was looking through all the ball morphs you can get and saw this one and instantly fell in love. The color and patterns are amazing on it, not to mention my love of anything yellow, and love for Bumble bee the Transformer.... -.-

:O I love bumble bee TOO! I swear when I tell people that they think I'm weird, but he is absolutely my most favourite character!!
This is also one of my most favourite morphs, not because of the yellow per say, but I just think the colouring with the pattern is absolutely brilliant. I can't wait till I can eventually acquire one :D

Just depends on what size you get them at. It evens out in the end to be honest. What you save by buying a pastel female, you spend buying a spider male.

Proven breeder spiders are 600-700 for a female. 200ish for a male
Pastels are 500-600 for a female, 100 for a male.

In reality about the same net cost. I got mine for $190 for the spider, $460 for the female pastel. Not bad, I hit 1 female bee or 2 female spiders from the 2200 gram females clutch and I've made my money back. ;)

Well next time you are going to breed them let me know I could love to get a bee!!! There is a spider at my pet store that I am tempted to buy just to see if I could find a female pastel to breed it to just to try and get a bee outta it!

It shouldn't be hard to find an adult pastel female in the states! I can find them up here I'm sure you can find them down there for pretty good prices.

Personally, I'd skip the pastel and pay the extra and find a super pastel female. Then it's a guaranteed bee.

It's not guaranteed at all, you still can miss the spider gene. I didn't pay extra, because I'm buying 5 proven normal girls, to breed my various morphs to and get some extra babies this season.

Pastel females at breeding age are actually not that easy to find, at least for good quality ones. I was looking at having to spend around $650 for a 1900g one, so I got real lucky with mine.
