My ball python got out of its cage and i cant find it. should i be scared for my kids?? what do i do to ensure he wont eat my birds??? any advice please!!!!

Your kids are perfectly safe as are your birds. A BP will not perceive an avian (Bird) as food.

Chances are it will turn up in a laundry pile, under a cushion, under the fridge (warm down there) a closet, Etc.

Luckily heavy bodied snakes like a BP are noted for leaving evidence behind, look for knocked over items like bottles and such. They can be like the proverbial bull in a china shop.

Watch the mythbusters episode on this :P The bulls avoided all the china, was awesome.
