So . . Im gonna start breadin retics wit Stephanbakir. He said I should make an account on this forum so I could learn from you people. I dont have any experience with breedin so he will be teachin me for a while. I was gonn be breadin blue eyed lucistic ball pythons but he said that wouldnt be good cash and he convinced me to start a project breedin retics wit him.

so, introducin myself im Miles, im 16 and i like survival, rap, and have no idea what im doin for fun at this point in my life. I stopped gamin a few months ago, recently ive been kinda bored . . just been chillin with my boys and watchin movies.
Ive had the account name Miles111 since i was 5, when i was like 10 i came up wit Miles One Eleven but didnt use it much till recently just outa boredom.

Anyways i came to this forum mostly to learn, also to discuss survival and wilderness livin skills if theres much discussion over that in this forum.

Rofl, you I didn't say it wasn't "good" money, what I said was breeding lesser X lesser, lucy X lucy or the other possible lucy combos wont be great forever, you need to find something you want to breed and use them as building blocks to get to the more exotic morphs.

He forgot to mention that he is my cousin :P I spend 2-3 days a week at his house helping out and starting trouble :P

You're getting in over your heads I think. Breeding retics in Canada isn't very lucrative. Most people can't own these snakes due to by-laws and I hope you aren't one of them!

I don't understand your logic in regards to ball pythons not being great forever when you plan to breed retics. Retics have larger clutches by about 3 to 4 times than ball pythons so your value of hatchlings drops significantly every year. Your retic breeding won't be 'great forever' either.

You did get one thing right, just keep and breed what you love within the laws of your Province.

What I meant was breeding 1 morph forever wont get you far because prices drop over time, you need to pick a few morphs to breed and over time create morph combos.
I already brought up the by-laws thing with his dad, I'm trying to convince him that if we move to the states we can work with larger snakes/hots and have way more potential buyers.
If you find out what a specific morph does you can try to work with that and create spectacular animals, by combining other morphs which are either lacking in that regard or do the same thing.
I will for sure be getting back into retics, I miss them and I'm still a little angry/disappointed I was forced to get rid of mine.
