i just copied this from a webpage.
"Small opening in the central upper bone of its skull in which sits a third eye. Images do not form in this eye but the eye acts as an ultraviolet light receptor."

Our monitor and "dino" at the reptile store (not sure what type of monitor he is) both LOVE having the third eyegently rubbed, they pretty much close their eyes and go to sleep pure relaxation.

It's interesting to find monitors having this- considering they really don't need UV lighting at all.

Interesting fact - Dinosaurs evolved into birds rather than reptiles.

Think about this . Velociraptor
