My new Jayapura Green Tree Python!

Just wanted to share my new chondro python with all you! She is a Jayapura locale and is 20 months old, she was sexed as a female. This is the second day I had her and she already ate!

Beautiful girl she is! Although I would suggest that you let her settle in for at least a week before handling her...

beautiful gtp, be careful with handling straight after food and also in the settling in process, thats why i always feed the same day or day after i get my snakes home, it helps them settle in but also as i cant really touch them for a week, feeding at this time wouldnt intervene with the start of handling.

still well done on the gd pick up though.

Nice snake, very pretty. Remember that GTPs are much more for show than for handling as they can be pretty fragile.

Calm down lol I haven't handled her since I got her, the pics of her outside are from the previous owner. From what I have seen with her she shows little aggression and didnt attempt to bite me when I am in her cage or when she was coming out of her bag. I originally was not going to feed her but I was feeding my other snakes and I noticed she was in hunting position so I threw an extra rat in there and she destroyed it. I am very pleased with her so far.
