so heres a question;
regardless to whether or not you have 1, what would be your perfect python and why?
they can be morph specific or just the species name will do.
lets see how big the python name and how popular they actually are

I think this should be perfect snake or perfect reptile. Perfect python for me would be an inland carpet (metcalfei) or southwestern carpet ( imbricata.)

I so wish it was. I have a 75% Diamond x 25% Jungle. Most Diamond you see in the U.S. are Yellow Diamonds. The Black and White are very rare. It was a picture of a Black and White Diamond in a Pythons and Boa book I saw that made me fall in love with them.

im lucky in the sense that i already have my dream python, a burmese python, however, my royal is similar in attitude and personality to my burm - from what i could tell while handling the burm before putting him into his temp viv setup - it is therefore (my personal opinion) recommended to get experience with a species that has similar personality to the target species thats smaller and work your way up to your dream species.

Luckily, I own my two favorite Pythons. A slayer retic and a Coastal Carpet. Both females both puppy dog tame<3

Is this the perfect python to keep including care,size and colours or is this my wish list animal?
If it's the former than it's a ball python otherwise it's a longer list.

I can't pick just one! I'd have to say it's a close tie between the Woma python and the Angolan python

For me it's purple albino reticulated python. They get huge, but I can deal with the larger pythons, just not large numbers of them. Also, the purple albinos are soo vibrantly-colored, and they have that wonderful, active and curious retic personality!
For a hot, it would have to be temple viper. I think that these are one of the most beautiful vipers in the world, and they are also supposedly some of the calmest. I don't think I'll ever own one however, as I don't think I could trust myself not to get tagged. I tend to be scatterbrained, and that is NOT a trait that goes well with hots. Still, I drool over pictures of them.

Yeah, they are incredible. ...I actually had the amazing luck of getting one in a trade last night. The guy thought she was lavender, but she has the deep dark purple and black pupils that set her off as purple. The guy said the breeder he got her from 6 years ago told him she was "caramel lavender" but she's purple. :)

How does one get a "caramel lavender"? T+ and T- at the same time?
