we get ducks on the pond at the cottage, while i wouldn't consider them pets, they don't end up being dinner either, but they are nice to look at. They don't stay for the winter.

believe me the pets are no trouble compaired to the teenagers LOL

Lisa, No that would be the pickled Dogs whic I do not have

Andrea, Its great keeping ducks we lived next to a path in the city and they were a big hit with the nebourhood residents

Asd far as care goes Duck feed from the co-op $9.00 for a big bag, you need about 5 a year and drinking water they will get a new pool in the summer Thats It!

kool! I am surprised, i though the care would of been much higher and complicated that that..

I know teenagers are trouble .. I pity my parents for having to have cared for me once lol

By curiosity - what kind of birds?

Aw very cute! What are their personalities like? Are they very social with people? I've only kept a pigeon, a jackload of starlings, and a finch of sorts before. I must say, the personalities on the starlings and pigeon were hilarious! :p
