Sweet lookin snake !!!
You have no idea, you need to see him in person. Have you ever seen a rainbow trout? Because he has a pink stripe like a rainbow. It's amazing

Love rainbow trout :) I got fishing for em every week.
They are tasty, not a bad fighter to. A few months and it will be time to go casting of the pier.

Man Jay he's Gorgeous. Love the red in his tail. I got a question for you. Aren't Guyana the one they call the true Red tail Boa or i am i getting them mix up the another RTB?
There are 9 subspecies of Boa's;
Boa constrictor constrictor
Boa constrictor Imperator
Boa constrictor Occ
Boa constrictor Sabogae
Boa constrictor Longicauda
Boa constrictor Nebulosus
Boa constrictor Ortonii
Boa constrictor Amarali
Boa constrictor Orphias
A select few are considered "True Redtails" and most of those fall under the B.C.C ( boa constrictor constrictor) Suriname, Guyana, Peruvian, Venezuela, Trinidad, Brazilian. Also the Argentine boa B.C.O.( boa constrictor occidentalis) is considered a true redtail

Yours without a doubt looks like a true read tail. I have seen some that are called red tails and barely have in red to them or non at all. Anyway you have a beautiful RTB.
Most pet store use the term "red tailed boa" when in fact they are usually just a plain old Boa Constrictor Imperator, don't get me wrong they are still nice too. They use this name as a cover up or because it sounds nicer then Constrictor.

I use to have three "RTB's" that i got from different pet store and non of them had even close the the same color. Only one had a red tail like yours.
