Their monstrosity is what makes them so fun! ;)

Grats, what are you housing her in as an adult?
Their monstrous size is part of their appeal

well, when she becomes full sized, i will build her own wooden viv that will measure: 16 foot long x 5-6 foot high x 2-3 foot wide.

from what i have read, they will enjoy a climb if given the chance and therefore i will give her plenty of climbing branches and logs, (ive had this idea in my head since i was a child so i know the exact setup lol) there will also be plenty of plantage, as burms like fairly high humidity (i think but please correct if wrong - approx 80-90%) i will be getting real indian plants to put into her viv, i want the best for this girl and shes gunna get her own home away from home within my home.

i will also be looking at there general origin area on google and from pictures to see what they have as hides and what they hide in to recreate such things for her to be in, e.g. if they live in crevises in rock piles, i will build a wooden base structure and build a rockery ontop of the wooden structure (obviously - the rocks will be real and boiled several times before being placed into the viv) to create several different holes at which she could go into, plus there will be pieces of slate at the basking spot to absorb the heat from the lamp and simulate both basking and ground temps.

yh the burmese python is a colosal giant snake but from that comes there beauty and grace. i wouldnt want it any other way.

I could advise not building her something that size, and 80% ambient humidity is WAYYY too high...
Build it 10 feet long MAX, preferably 8 unless she really does get gigantic, and don't build it that high anyway, build it maby 2.5 feet high, they prefer having the walls close to them. and anything over 30 inches deep requires that you enter the terrarium to clean it.

i dont mind going inside her viv to clean it, she wont be in it at the same time either way, i would if i could, build her, her own room like coverting a pantry or closet sort of thing for her, as every care sheet that ive read and every program that ive watched about burms since i was a child found 60% of burms up trees, hence the hight of the viv.4

They get pretty heavy bodied and for the most part aren't climbers, that can buy generally avoid it within their viv unless their hot-spot is up a tree.
