You can see what i currently keep in my signature. I tend to be attracted by larger, arboreal species. Obviously etb and gtbs are in the running, but any other less common ideas? I also was considering a FWC, or other rear fanged snake. All suggestions welcome. I like naturally occurring patterns opposed to morphs, and want a snake at least 4 feet. That's basically my only criteria. Thank you in advance for suggestions.

Scrub python (amethystine) are AMAZING arboreal snakes. They get long as hell but not girthy and their colors are amazing, and SOOO iridescent.
Super dwarf retics are way more faded and less bright then mainlands for the most part, max out at 7 feet for females and 6 feet for males, don't get girthy.
Dwarf retics come in soo many colors and the normals are still pretty awesome! they get a little girthy but not too bad. females max at 17ish males are more 15ish.
Yellow anacondas are nice but their poo smells insane! they don't get overly long but they do get girthy, and take FOREVER to grow. Can be a little nippy but with work it seams to work its way out.
Hog island boas are great, they look fantastic and don't get big.
Fwcs are great but their venom has yet to be defined. I've been bitten without any complications but it could have been a dry bite.
Taiwan beauty snakes are longish, they max at 6 for females and 5 for males (keep in mind that for some reason my female is almost 8 feet long and still growing. They are more of a display animal and don't like getting handled and they REQUIRE an arboreal tank. Very slender and fast as hell.

Stephan-I want all on your list! lol I looked into scrubs, they are totally awesome, however slightly out of my price range. How long would it take for a dwarf retic to reach 15 feet? I was thinking hard about a yellow anaconda, this was my first choice. I keep hearing horror stories about their cleanliness though and its giving me second thoughts.

I don't know. There are soo many awesome species how does one choose!? I'm torn also because take carpets for example: I love them and have a coastal and am drawn to some of the other locales/morphs but i also love variety among species i keep. I guess every semi-new keeper goes through this phase of truly identifying their hobby. Well keep throwing species at me people!

Thanks in advance,
Bryan

Take some time and identify what YOU like the most, and focus on that.
I'm not a dwarf/super dwarf man, I've never owned one and don't plan to unless I can get into SD morphs.
I can tell you that a normal sized retic should get to 8-11 feet in the first year.

Keep in mind that albinos/sunfires and motley retics tend to stay slightly shorter then the other morphs.
