if your looking for a GTP that will stay red good luck if there is one like that its going to cost you a lot but if your looking for just a snake that will stay red i think there are some corn snakes that will stay red.

i dont really want a corn again tbh, hopefully something along the lines of an albino nelsons but without the kings attitude as its for my partner and the feeding response and aggression of a king will scare her

yh something she can hold, plus on a side note, a baby is on the way, so safety is paramount, i dont mind if its arboreal or not as it will be housed in a home made viv

Heat in LowerMedium 80's like 84F, anything over 89-90F for to long can KILL them. 90% humidity. They are not a beginner snake in any way (not stateing your a beginner in any shape/form or fashion just putting that out there). And the "reddish" ones (i say reddish cause there not really red) are going to cost you. Also they can reach 6ft pretty commonly.

Theyre cool snakes to own but youve gotta be up to scratch with their humidity and heat. And my girls feedinfg response can be crazy.... However shes docile, shy but inquisitive. Wouldnt change her. :)

lets not forget the amazing red phase amazon tree boa google that and tell me that is not a smoking animal lol have fun with your reserch as for BRB husbandry we keep our temps at 85-89 F with a 85% humidity have fun.

well, we have so far narrowed it down to either a brb or an albino hundoran, but still open to suggestions, thats a red sided garter isnt it wayne.
even though my partner is a total beginner with snakes, im not as you can tell, she will have me to rely on, ive already told her that she wont be feeding the snake no matter what, that will be my job/pleasure as if i get tagged, i just laugh it off, were as she will be frightened of the snake from then on, so its better not to risk it and also she wont be getting the snake out of its home until she has the convidence to do so, but she will be looking after it and handling the snake after i have gotten the snake out.
safety is the key to success

Peruvian Rainbow hold their red a lot better than Brazilians. BRB turn more of a orange to orangish brown as they age to my understanding. PRB have a deeper red and bolder lines, but are a lot harder to find.
