Hi guys,
As the title says I once was a pgotographer and actually have a BSc in Scientific Photography. I have not picked up a DSLR in five years till a couple of nights ago... (I'm about to buy a new DSLR Nikon D7000 in a couple of months) anyway here's some stuff.
From a while back...

Some scientific stuff....
BD in infrared with no visible spectrum leakage...

BD in ultraviolet with no visible spectrum leakage...
http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/nn214/Red-Ink-Buldogs/_DSF0022.jpg
The ultraviolet spectrum taken with a specialised camera i was doing a paper on, i was trying to find out how far this camera imaged into the UV and I found out it imaged down to 364nm... Inadvertantly it also told me that this particular light source is perfect for diurnal lizards, quite handy given my interest in both subjects...
the twin peaks in the end is 366nm and 364nm into the UVB spectrum. The light source also had a UV peak at 386nm (UVA)

I'll put up some more pic later...

i'm going for a coastal due to the lack of a distinct head marking
i have read that proper pure coastals tend to NOT have the distinct head patterns most other carpets seem to share.they tend to have scattered, broken or no head pattern at all.
is it a coastal and do you know the locale ?
love the short stocky head shape of him
cheers shaun

It's coastal Shaun... SE Queensland locality, commonly refered to here as "brisbane" carpet pythons.

Eastern Water Dragon mate...
I was following him for a while and he stopped at a perfect spot, looked back at me and I snapped the pic. You get lucky sometimes, that was the only spot with sunlight coming through lol.
