Tunneling in shed

Hey one of our corns shed today and did the wierdest thing I've ever seen. He went back through the shed and came out the other side. I saw him emerging from the shed and figured...oooh, i finally caught him shedding and went and got the camera but when I looked more closely, I realised that he was exiting where the cloaca is. Anybody else seen this behavior?

Yes I saw this once when I was fostering a corn snake, here...
