The key to walleye is cleaning and filleting them right away. Then put them on ice till your ready to cook them. Keeps them tasting a lot fresher. Plus they have more flavor.:) Now i am hungry for some fish.

I have some rainbow in my fridge right now. My fave was a beauty 13 inch brook trout. They taste better then anything.

Ddint get a chance to weigh it (had no scales with me) but i was reeling in a smallish fish and a River Pike took it - thankfully i was using heavy gear borrowed from a friend. Reeled the pike in and it was about 3 foot long and was pretty heavy to lift!

41 posts per day, holy crap!
