View Full Version : Anyone see this today?
There is a pic on the cover of the Toronto Star today with girl guides and a <b>ball python!</b>
The quote under the pic states
".....gather around a python yesterday, during a weekend-long event at the skydome. The snake, which can grow as long as 10 metres, was visiting from jungle cat world..."
WOW....a 10 metre ball python, now that would be interesting
It bothers me when people cant get their facts straight...even something as simple as 1 snakes adult length!

LMAO!! :p That's one huge ball! So sad though that such misinformation is being put out there. They get so little attention, and whenever they do it is usually false or negative :(

Can you write the edditor?
Cheers,
Trevor
you could write the editor of the start at lettertoed@thestar.ca
if you like.
Actually that might be a good idea, but im doubtful that they would ever acknowledge the mistake, nevermind do a re-print in the back or something.....might as well try though!

damn cuz that coulda been neat to see..but yea, "ball python swallows child" does make a funny headline too...
Heres what the article said that you cant read at the bottom. "Charming snake: Members of the Girl Guides of Canada gather around a python yesterday, during a weekend-long eventat the SkyDome. The snake which can grow as long as 10 metres, was visiting from Jungle Cat World, near Bowmanville. About 6,000 Guides are having a two-day sleepover on the field of the Dome."

That's soo wrong, but a well written letter may get posted.
they may put a small correction in but those are barely noticeable.
