I half want her to take care of her because I think my firends husbandry is lacking more than not :P

She is a bit big but such a nice snaky. We got her a hide and made a moist hide for her and picked a lot of fecal matter out of her enclosure Dry water dish too, sigh. I have been soaking her in the tub daily to try to get some of her stuck shed off from behind her head. She took a medium FT rat so I am sure he hasn't fed her in a few weeks. She also seems to have a bit of an exhalation weeze that may be because she is big or possibly an RI? She has been neglected food and moisture wise I am certain of but I don't think she has been cold.

Even our larger snakes breath silently.

It isn't a bad idea to get her checked out, but it could be a piece of retained shed in the nasal opening. Seen that before. Good luck with her.

Does 5lbs seem light for a snake of her kind and size? If everything you said is true about the individual caring for her why not try and adopt her...if you have the room of course.

She's lovely. I wouldn't want to give her back!

she looks like she has a healthy weight, not too skinny.
