A few weeks ago I found 4 northern black racers in a pile :P it isn't mating time either. I guess they were just hanging out

The correct spelling is "dying" Not singling you out, it seems about half our members spell that wrong.
There is no such word as dieing. ;)
On to the question, I find Garter snakes and milk snakes in the same hide spot and milks will eat a garter without hesitation. Yes I have pics....

Why is that? I thought that most, if not all, snakes like warm foods..

As for weird herp finds, I've never really seen anything to out of the ordinary, as i'm not in the area for that sort of herping... What's weird this year is I haven't seen ANYTHING. o.o Normally I save a garter almost every time I cut the grass at work, none yet. ;/ Went looking for salamanders and things along the trails on some good days we had, same places I've always looked, and nothing. ;/

A vagran is homeless, hence hobo..

My dad said he found a 2 headed black rat snake when he was my age but it was fresh out of the egg and died a few hours later.
For me, condoms, panties, beds in the middle of the woods, graves, shooting stars, a rocket taking off from NC, and satellites. Technically the last 3 are from my night fishing adventures haha
I used to find Massasauga Rattlers but the 10's sitting on the warm road at night in the summer in northern Ontario when i was a kid. we use to pick them up by the tails and chase each other with them. Luckily none of us ever got bit!!

I was walking with my husband and in laws and while I was walking next to my mother in law a little brown Garter snake was sunning itself on the path... my mother-in-law screamed so loud and grabbed me so hard you would have thought it was a cobra she made me promise to warn her if I saw another one...
