I have had that picture in my reptile room since the beginning of the summer. I got it from the Metro paper in Toronto. All it says is its a carpet they found in a roof. Everytime someone asks to hold my carpets I show them the pic and they change there mind even tho mine are as nice as can be.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I lust after carpets, but because of a local ban on boids and the fact that I consider myself too small to effectively handle such a strong snake I will probably never own one.

That pic makes me feel much better about that fact.

eyespy: i dont understand how strong you'd have to be to handle a carpet python.. Of all the boids i've dealt with in their size range i find them extremely docile and very easy to handle. I'd most often recommend coastal carpets to people wanting an attractive snake that doesnt grow to large.
