Hello everyone, my boa is having trouble shedding, shes about half way through and struggling, ive used loads of repti shed to try and help her out, now ive put her back in viv and going to check her in the morning, does anyone have any tips for me to help make the process more easier for herhttp://constrictors.com/forums/images/smilies/confused.gif
Increase the humidity to 80%+ during a shed cycle.
You'll no longer need useless (IMO) products like Reptished.

Up humidity to 80%+ during shed like Mykee said, and if that's not possible to maintain in your snakes terrarium make a humid hide.

definately up the humidity, thats quite often the cause for a bad shed.. If she really struggles for a while you can run it softly through a damp pillow case

Put some damp sphagnum moss into the viv either inside a hide or a plastic box - my snakes love these when they are shedding - as long as the moss is kept slightly damp you can use it time and time again.
Alternatively put water in a bath to the height of half the height of the snake and put some towels or facecloths into the water and leave the snake in there for 20 minutes or so - the water should be warm but not hot - the snake will rub around the towels and get most if not all the shed off.

She should be fine for now, make sure next time shes going into shed that you up the humidity, and even give her a tub to soak in.
