Introducing Petunia she is the largest boa in our collection she is a 9 foot 35Lbs Pastel Boa (BCI).

The funny part about all this is that she is a touch on the thin side she was breed and has refused food for 6 months but we are not 100% if the breeding took so we are treating her with care and starting to prep her for the next season.

Unaware of these facts she was breed in another facility but her due date was a very long time ago and she seems healthy otherwise. We will be getting a ultra sound done prior to boosting her feeding regiment for the breeding season

If shes past her due days you can probably just "feel her up" or palpate her and tell if there are eggs/babies.

That was the nature of the reason why she was out and the picture was taken, a before and after shot per-say. This Specimen came form the best reptile keeper on the east coast of Canada all their adult animals are vet checked prior to making their way to The Ark it is more of a professional courtesy thing then anything else. But I ain't stopping it a second set of med records is always helpful.
