It wasn't for long, but he had a good time. Poor guy was almost too scared to explore XD
I had my camera with me and I haven't posted any pictures of my Rosy Boa yet, so.. BEHOLD! The products :Wow:

Nice pictures! There's nothing like natural sunlight to bring out a snake's colors...

Where did you get it or from whom? how much lol. If you want check vmsherp.com and check there rosey boas yours really looks like a hemet locality imo awsome animal. I have 4 localities myself, it seems a lot of people have no clue as to there rosy locality and a lot seem to make up localities which makes it hard to find out what something is unless you know what an established locality looks like already. Fascinating animals imo I like them more than BPs for sure.
Hey we are both newbs "high five" what are you keeping it in and what temps are you running and how are you avoiding/introducing humidity to the animal? maybe we can help each other with husbandry?
After looking at VMS yours could be a Bay of LA??? or San Felipe they seem very close.

Woot for noobs! *high fives back*
I got him from a friend that claims he cost her $300
It was a great deal for me. Her boyfriend made a car trade with my father and the trade wasn't all that fair on their part, so they threw in the snake to balance the deal out. All I have to worry about is bedding and food.
I'll have some pictures up of his tank soon. His temperatures are 90 during the day and 85 at night. He has a shallow water dish that I was told has to be filled once completely dried out.
I still need to do a lot more research on the little guy. Make his life as enjoyable as possible :3

We keep our rosies in a rack at 82 constant and offer water on the weekends only. They are doing great so far. I am sure some localities prefer more heat than others. Have you looked around to take a guess on its locality yet? They must have been ripped off or are thinking the snake is made of gold if it was $300, how is its personality? Do you hold it much?

I might have to test out your system there, friend. I've been worried that he is getting too much moisture.
Well, the snake alone wasn't $300. She had also gotten him second hand from an elderly woman, so the deal came with all it's needs. A storage cabinet, the tank, and all the extra merchandise in the tank.
He likes to be out and about. I'm guessing the elderly woman before payed loads of attention to him. My friend claims to have held him all the time, as well. So he's not too jumpy about human contact.
