i was about to change the rats bedding so i snapped some pics because the girl buried herself and had a staring contest with me lol.
although i do remember, months ago when i still only had the male rat before i put him in the bird cage he just lived in a cubby shelf type deal in my room about 4 feet off the ground. he always hung out in there and never tried to escape. one day i took out the dumerils and the rat was up in his cubby. the snake curiously stuck his head to the front of the cubby and looked around and the rat saw the snake and RAN FOR THE HILLS lol. i've never seen a rat hide quicker then when he saw that huge snake staring at him.

Wouldn't you:P I woke up camping and had a bear staring me in the face lol, in my case it was a stuffed bear head my cousins put there to scare me:p but i know what was going through the rats head lol

when i was a kid i stayed the night at someones house and they had a HUGE buffalo head and shoulders on a mount on the wall. i woke up in the middle of the night and walked towards the bathroom and saw a BUFFALO staring at me lol. i had a second of OMFG.
