I'm new to snakes. Found this beautiful snake while I was walking in the park. What is it, guys? Thanks! :)
I'm from TN, by the way.

Its hard to tell by the really dark photo, but overall it has the physique of a Nerodia, common water snake. From what I can tell from the markings, again hard to ID because of poor image quality, they almost look like water snake markings.

Wish I was into snakes while I lived in TN. Saw a couple cottonmouths, admired for a minute and that was it. Saw a dead one that choked on a fish. Didn't even snap any pictures :(
