I'm one of those horrible people who name animals human names but I love it. I have Dave, a similar looking grey cat and my newest snake is Esmerelda. We do have a cat named Lunchbox, though. I like to name things a shortened version of names too. I say name her Cirri, short for Cerulean for those gorgeous eyes.
