I came home from out of town last night to find my female Anerythristic White Sided Brooks king laying. There are 15 fertile eggs and 0 slugs.

More clutches to come!

A slug is an non fertile egg.

Thanks Everyone! Yep Sassy snake lady is correct. The babies will look just like the parents who were both anery whitesided brooks kings.

Congrats on the perfect clutch! Looking forward to hatchling pictures. I love white-sided and the parents are gorgeous!

A slug is an non fertile egg.

Correct, but still borns are also called slugs. And so are those thing that shrivel up when you put salt on them.

Agreed, but in this case, the slugs were non fertile eggs :)

I have never put salt on a slug before.....may have to try that!

I know. You wrote "no slugs", ILMP then asked "a slug is a dead egg isn't it" so in this case, the slugs your refered to in the OP ( even though there were none) would be non fertile eggs. :yes:

What is the spatula for? So if it does make it out of the maze he gets served for dinner anyway, marinated in salt?
