Do you think it's real or bullshit? Buhto said he was killed back in '07 but he wasn't.

I want to believe he is, but I wouldn't doubt if he has avoided being killed again. The man is crafty you gotta give him that.

Yeah I don't know if it's true or not but Obama just made a speech confirming his body is in US custody. Think somethings fishy? Made up in time for the 10th anniversary so we don't look like idiots for still being there?

*sorry if this sounds rude to the members outside of the US... I'm sure you all know what he is responsible for...*

don't get me wrong, i'm glad he's dead. very glad. but remember - WE are the ones who went over to HIS soil back in the early 90s. i will never understand why we have to always stick our noses in other country's businesses. we loose money and get nothing out of it. let's worry about our own problems. let's work on our economy. let other countries fend for themselves. it's not like other countries really like us anyhow.

I grew up on "old school presidents" I respect what he is trying to do, but the ideas he thinks are going to balance our budget are skewed.

When the BP rig started dumping in the ocean, any other president before him would have been on a navy ship at the site within hours addressing the nation.

Do you believe him to be the "communist" or "socialist" that people have called him? The whole spread the wealth routine and what not. Sometimes I think he has dabbled in it, and sometimes I think he has smoked far to much weed in his younger days instead of studying the way the government SHOULD work and the constitution.

Socialism seems about right.

Health care, that subject strikes a nerve, Our daughter just started liking her doctor only to receive a letter that his practice will no longer accept the reduced rates that our "payment provider" was willing to offer.

so now I have 2 choices, either pay cash for office visits, or trade in an experienced top notch doctor for a substandard one that will accept something silly like $35 an office visit.

I am a professional, and I demand a hundred dollars an hour for my time, if I was suddenly told I would have to accept half that or lose my customer, I would lose my customer, since I could find another who will pay full price to replace the one who only wanted to pay half.

So I don't blame the doctors for turning away the HMO patients, but at the same time why in the hell should my family have to accept substandard health care?

As for healthcare I hate that soon we will be FORCED to buy a healthcare plan or have to pay fees via taxes. I might get sick once or twice a year and it is cheaper to pay for a doctor's visit out of pocket those two times than a full year of monthly healthcare insurance. Hopefully the stupid thing will be trashed, shredded, and burned.

Hehe don't get me started on illegal immigrants. I might get mad and drive by a home depot with a baseball bat. I read somewhere they get a couple g's a month per kid, without a green card. It is more profitable to pump out kids than to get a job, and they know this. Wish I could remember the source i'd love to find out if this is true or not.

Goes against everything this country was founded on...

RandyRhoads
05-01-11, 11:58 PM
Yes but at what point do you have to rethink the ideas it was founded on? When you have an education and can't land a job at micky d's , and when you go there it's full of (possible) illegal Mexicans who get your order wrong and can't communicate the english langauge well enough to.

Side note even if they are legal, isn't there some law were they have to know enough english to understand and take orders? Just curious... The one down the road....Holy...

NennaMeerkat
05-02-11, 12:01 AM
I am all for what this country was founded on. However back in their day it was REALLY REALLY hard to travel. Not like today. There is no way the founding people of our country could see what has changed to make it so much easier for dangerous people to come here. Not to mention all the other problems that come with a large amount of people. And I also don't think the founding people were about wanting people to break the rules to live here. Also one last point...when they made the "rules" we were founded on the US wasn't NEARLY has populated as it is today.

Damion930

NennaMeerkat
05-02-11, 12:14 AM
Its these lax border control policies that make us such a push over to illegals and to the cartels who don't take us seriously. Humans always fear for their life when there is something to fear...we need to portray that need for fear on our borders. Be it by whatever means that need to be done. You have to keep your home safe. If a guy suddenly came into your home and started acting dangerously, kidnapping your family, or tried to push drugs on them wouldn't you want a gun to take care of the problem? Same goes for our borders.

RandyRhoads
05-02-11, 12:17 AM
Another great way to look at it. California would try to say you intervening was excessive force. Love your Texan gun laws. Anyone breaks in an threatens you or your family. Dead on sight. CA I shoot an intruder I most likely get manslaughter.

We prefer stabbing implements around my home. Every room in the house (except my son) has at least one large knife in it. My husband also has a bamboo billy club he bought while in South Korea while in the Army.

However I do like the style of your gun you choose to keep. Serious business and it would make me feel safe to be sure.

And yes it is one reason I enjoy living in Texas. Criminals better durn well beware of breaking into homes around here. Liable to be the last thing they do when the gun barrel is the last thing they see.

You should move here and get out of Cally. They are getting more and more "socialist" every day. Soon enough only the people working for the government there will have any rights...and criminals will be the only ones with the guns.

Same model I carried in Afghanistan while monitoring TCPs (traffic control points). Got hooked on it and had to purchase one for myself. Can't think of anything better for extreme close combat. Such as my apartment. Manuverable, reliable, yet powerfull, and with the size of the barrel aim in the general direction and it's game over baddy. As much as I love California, the weather, lifestyle. I think my destiny is in another state that makes more sense.

Very wise words but there's an exception. I had a .25 hooker pistol you'd never know I had. And if I attempted to shoot anyone with it, it would miss, jam, or hit you and piss you off . Saving the life's of innocent men, women and children, to secure resources vital to keeping this country going (not just on an economic level). To protect the interest and well being of Allied countries. Just a few reasons for you..

Put it like this if you saw a random man beating a women (or child), you would step in correct?? (if not your a coward) Same goes with if your friend (ally) was in the same situation id assume you'd help right? and wouldnt consider it just sticking your nose in some one Else's business.

I understand i was young at the time to. America helps her Allies, Kuwait is an ally who was invaded by Iraqi forces under Saddam Hussien in Aug of 1990. We deployed our forces in Saudi Arabia as a base to effectively defeat Saddam and his armies. Usama Bin Laden's native country is Saudi, our presence there is why he turned his attention to us in the first place. There was a time were America supplied arms to Bin Laden and the regime that waged war against Russian forces in Afghanistan, wierd right? hahah. I had just turned 11 when the towers fell. Had no idea I would be going to fight the same war it triggered at the time. Ahh suprises.

I watched it all live on TV.

Don't know why, I never watch Matt Lauer, I turned on NBC just in time to see the smoke from the first plane, sat there glued to it, and watched plane number two fly into the second tower live.

By the end of that day, things were so weird.. We live near the approach for an airport, the circle patterns are directly over my house. (The airport is MILES away, so they are circling at many thousands of feet up)

There were NO planes overhead, except the occasional air force squadron on patrol.

Was at work at the time, the whole place came to a standstill and we huddled around pc screens watching online coverage, lots of tears and anger in that office that day.

Am i glad he is dead, yes and no.

One less evil man on the planetbut reports syy is organisation is run like an army. There are others who will take his place and possibly commit worse atrocities in his name.

In all of this "war on terror" i feel sorry for the average Muslim, Osama was no more a typical Muslim than a Ku Klux Klan leader is an average Christian, yet due to widespread ignorance all Muslims have been lumped together. I for one would be livid to hear that i was compared to the *** for being Christian. Unfortunatel extremists are the ones that make the news and thats where the misinformation starts.

Randy - thank you for fighting for us :)

I pulled out my my papers for my fallen friends memorial services and finally felt like they didn't die in vein. Of course there are more, there will always be. But we got the "most wanted" one that alot of people fought to try to bring to justice. Finally...

This might have won the next election for Obama...it's the only good news during the entire presidency.

Amusing evil is one thing, Murder, mayhem & inciting fear in innocent people is one flavor of evil I can live without.

It's like comparing putting an M-80 in a porta toilet to driving a gasoline tanker into a packed school house. Both are evil, one makes us laugh, the other screws with our emotions.
