So my husband not only allowed me to have one Leopard but he said we could have two! Yay for me :) So here are our two new girls. Their names are based off their colors and morph names but as of right now I cannot remember one of them >.< Which I am feeling bad about. If someone recognizes the morph of my lighter (non orange one) please let me know. Tomorrow though (when hubby isn't sleeping) I can get their names and everything that came with them that says about their lineage/morph type.
So without further adieu!
This is Bell our orange girl.

And ONE last thing...
I will NOT tolerate and do NOT appreciate anyone commenting harshly about the bedding you see in their tank shots. I also don't care to hear your harsh opinions about keeping 2 in one tank.
However voicing things nicely and giving constructive comments are more than welcome.

very nice nenna and dont worry my girl came with beech chip substrate, the lighter girl looks like a albino pinstripe tbh but what ever the morphs, there beautiful and you should be very proud of them :)

Okay here are their genetics everyone:
Bell (darker one):
Red Stripe Bell cross
Eclipse (lighter one):
Het Eclipse Mom: Hey Typhoon Dad: Firewater PH Eclipse
Not sure what all of it means in the long run but eventually I am considering mating them with a REALLY orange male...I think they are called Tangerine...to get some really pretty babies. But I would only do that if I could find a group of buyers in my area.
~~~~
Anyways. Right now they have a small heating pad underneath their tank but it is far to small. So tomorrow with b-day money I will be buying a larger one. Eclipse seems to enjoy the cooler side while Bell seems to have found the warmest spot and is all curled up on herself. Gave them calcium coated mealworms but I have no idea if they ate them or if they crawled out of the bowl. So tomorrow will be cricket buying day (my dragon will love having these girls around for that reason alone) and see if they will hunt.
They also have a huge piece of driftwood that they seem to enjoy crawling to its top and trying to get on the lid to hang upside down. Especially Eclipse. She is so much more active than Bell. Haven't taken to the calcium bowl I put out and I need to figure out a way to keep substrate from getting inside of it. Maybe a flat rock stacked beneath the bowl...
Anyways I have been rambling! I am just happy to have my girls :)
you could use a piece of slate to put the calci bowl on, as for the mealworms, yh chances are there in ur substrate, i use large locusts with my girl and she loves them, try giving a different food item every now and again as they will love the variety
Yeah tomorrow before giving them the crickets I will sift through the substrate to find any that might have crawled out and buried themselves. Hopefully crickets will get them excited.
Do you normally feed your girls at night or do you feed them whenever you get food? Cause I can hold off feeding them the crickets until night time if needed.
i usually put the crickets/locusts in her tank before i go to bed and any left when i get up, i remove so im giving her a choice to feed throughout the night which she does so, ive stayed up and seen her eat 1 every 2 hrs or so.
Okay thanks I will be doing that tomorrow. Thankfully I have a small critter cage that I can use to hold crickets overnight. Gives me a chance to make sure the crickets have something good in their belly before giving it to either of the girls.
Thanks for your help ILMP (new way I am gonna call you)
