Just wondering if anyone has used this product, if so was it any good its only $17.99cdn sounds cheap let me know

Would probably do the trick i just dont lile those 1.5 V batteries... I personally use a temp gun from home depot cant remember the model at the moment but it cost me about 70

Accurate (+/- 2.5°F)

i'm kinda doubting this right here. that is a pretty narrow range for a temp gun in this price range. my $200 raytek is acurate +/- 1%.

Thats what i thought for 18 bucks its will probably break or be inaccurate,im gunna try it out tomorrow how would i test it?

Just cause it is cheap doesn't mean it is horrible. I got a 20 dollar one from a show a few months ago. Works just fine.

that's the tough part. you really don't have a reference. you could use a probe thermometer to gauge something, then use the heat gun to see if it's in the ballpark. but if your thermometer is off, then your results might be off as well.

How do you know though?

How do you know about any temp gun? Personally I tested it by putting it against the opening in my ear and holding the button down for a few seconds. Gave me a 98 on the reading...

i checked zilla's web site and it doesn't list the d:s ratio. i'm guessing it's 1:1. another reason why it's so cheap.
