Oh man that is nice! Love all the fake plants and such. I you want to in the future they do make smaller grade but similar bedding called Sani Chips. It is what I use with my hoggie and is easy for her to bury herself.

cover up the back and sides. do you have a uth? if so, it shouldn't be making contact with a towel.

Thanks ill upload some pics of my snake in a little and yes i have a uth. is it bad if it touches the tower? i have about a half an inch of space so it can breathe. should i take the towel off? will it hurt the wood counter?

Most UTH comes with little stick on clear looking tabs that you attach to the bottom of the pad so it doesn't touch the wood. Though TBH I have used them without them on wood without a problem. But yeah you should probably remove the towel.

and make sure the tank is elevated from the surface. the heat pad needs to 'breathe' and the tank shouldn't be resting on the cord.

i have the rubber stoppers on the bottom so it should be good
