I have a ball python, he's 9 years old and I got him 3 years ago. Love him to death, he's such a sweetie, very curious little bugger though, make sure that whatever you're keeping her in locks

oh yes, when I brought home my ball python, Wolfus, he did not eat anything (AT ALL) for 11.5 months. he was driving me (and everybody on this forum who was helping me) absolutely crazy!

Lol btw never cleared this up what was the cause of him going off feed? just being a picky little pain in the butt? :D

I'm actually not sure. I tried different kinds of rats, a live mouse (which he showed no interest in so i had to catch that quick little bugger and take him back to the pet store), heating them up differently, leaving the heating up rat beside his home to get him smelling it for a bit before I fed him... one day I was home alone and didn't expect him to eat because it had almost been a year so i was holding the heated up rat by the tail with my hands and he jumped and ate it, i was terrified and excited :P

For sure! Out of all my babies, my ball python is the only one to of made the great excape, and has done so about 3-4 times now. The last time I still have no idea how she escaped...Woke up with the doors shut, and locked, and with a piece of tape in place over where they over lap...but no snake... Examined the tank and couldn't figure it out...But she was sitting on the self in the morning. lol.
