hey guys, if you are having problems getting nice humidity for a BRB and using a tub i got an easy solution....

i took a small tub, like 6 or 12 qt... cut a hole in the top and fill with water, and place it on the warm side.. it evaporates creating humidity, and i have plants and stuff so she can still "hide" but she burrows any ways...

so far 2 perfect sheds and consistent temps.. about 2 months now doing it this way, just wanted to share, i know ALL of you already know what to do :)

Lil, good call -- that is a proven and effective method of boosting humidity in Brazilian vivs. The only suggestion I would make is to remove the water bowl's cover entirely. This increases the surface area (more evaporation) and allows your snake to use it as a bathing pool more easily. Again, good post!

yea, she does soak, only in shed though, she is a burrower.. always hid under the bedding :)
