There is a guy local to us that has a brother and sister RTB living together in a 4x2x2 foot viv. He is off to Uni for three years and looking for someone to buy them off him. I am thinking of suggesting a "Fostering Contract" to him where we look after them whilst he is at Uni then takes them back after - my thoughts being that he pays for food, vets bills etc.
Never having any Boa's of my own before can you guys let me know anything i should be looking out for, thoughts on them being together and any thoughts on the general "Fostering" idea.
Many thanks!!

That viv is never gonna be big enough for 2 red tails! Are they pure red tails?
lol at 3 yrs old your gonna end up with a puddle of goo and babies before long!!
and that is plenty big enough, boa breeders all over use the 4x2x2 and will keep a boa in there for its entire adult life. Me personally is a snake pushes 8 ft plus Id move them into a bigger cage just so I dont feel so bad lol

HAvent got full details as yet - just going from an initial post from another forum, obviously would get LOTS more detail before saying yes. He states that they are RTB's but havent seen pics or anything.

Id say the viv is goin to be big enough for one full grown rtb not the two. Good luck tho rob, hope it turns out well x

boas aren't that active and don't require a huge cage. i'd say that cage is just fine as long as you aren't going to power feed for the next 3 years. i like to feed my every other week, which is just enough to keep mine healthy but they also don't grow huge.
