Just wondering if Pacman frogs are easy to care for. Would also like to know if you can hold them. I dont mean a lot but once in a while.

I dont know about pacman frogs, but some frogs breath through their skin so touching them isn't advised. (i don't know if pacman frogs fall into this group)

You should not hold any frog. It's bad for all of them.

no, you should NOT hold them ever, unless you REALLY have to, and they will also bite you, they're one of those frogs that you put in a tank and look at it. lol

I don't know anything about frogs - but I have a friend that owns one and handles it constantly; though I have heard you should never touch frogs more than needed, these particular owners didn't seem to think so.
I don't agree- just sharing.

Pacman frogs are really easy to care for, as long as you set them up right. I had one for several years. They NEED a lot of moisture, so a bedding mix of cypress mulch, moss, jungle earth (usually a sterile peat and soil mix) and sphagnum will work well. A single Pacman will do fine in a 5 or 10-gallon tank. Keep it warm- high 70s to low 80s but make sure to mist several times a day and give the frog a huge water bowl it can easily fit in and soak in. For a while I had mine in a 20-gallon divided so half was water and half was dirt. He never went in the water. I switched him back to a 10-gallon that was all dirt with a big shallow dish and he started going into the dish frequently. They also eat a lot. Give it crickets a few times a week, roaches, mealworms, and mice to size as it grows (pinkies, fuzzies, or hoppers).
While they do tolerate handling for the most part, it certainly isn't good for them. Frogs absorb nutrients and moisture through their skin, so anything you have on your hands (soap, lotion, perfume, sanitizer) will leach into the frog and could harm it. I would not recommend handling it.
