you always have the next batch of baby's to look forward to and that would be impossible if you kept every clutch you produced as you would already be the crazy snake lady with a house a house full of snakes :yes:

i send regular updates to the girl i bought my irian jag from as she was hurt at having to part with him.as sad as it sounds i send her pictures at xmas and his hatch date :no::yes:

think of what your going to add to your collection with the money your hatchlings earn you pal ;)

Sucks to see them go, but the best we can hope for is regular updates and that they will bring joy to their new owners. Some of the snakes you produce are gems!

I have sold snakes before myself to get money to buy food for the others..

In other words, rather than let all my snakes miss out on eating, I had to say goodbye to one or two so I could buy food for all the others.

I know folks who have sold a snake to pay the vet bill for one that got sick when their bank account was less than optimal at the time... Etc.

Because I have enough in the leopard projects, The one I posted is a possible het leopard. I not only have 4 100 het leopards but Im also getting a visual leopard. The other is a hypo possible het vpi I have a female hypo 100% vpi and a male 100% het vpi so they are really not needed and they are extra mouths to feed. Since I have 3 coming in next week and 2 coming in shortly after..plus this time next yr Ill have around 300 babies soooo it would be smart to trim down were I can..I just dont want to so much lmao!!

Been there done that too.. and yes it is hard, especially when you spend all that time working with them. ;)
