i created this post in hopes that anybody who has pics will post their body art. of course the post starter has no pics of himself but will take some later tonight hopefully. if you don't have pics of your tattoos or piercings you can do your best to describe. I myself have no tattoos until april when i am getting my right quarter sleeve started. i do have both my ears pierced 1/2" ,guages stop at 00 ,and both conch ( inner lower cartiledge) pierced .

very nice Gillards. i liked Lind's work . i have my labret pierced as well but it was out as I just got home from work and thats a no no there. so are my earrings but i fought to keep those in. is that modeld off of one of your own Gillards?

I have a cross with a rose intertwined with it on my chest, just below my collar bone. I also have a beautiful Tiger one my left upper arm, not really on my shoulder but kinda in a weird spot on my arm. It's a white tiger with blue highlights, it's just the face and the paws kinda peeking/laying on a grey cliff. I just LOVE it!! It only cost me 180.00 colored and it's fairly big, pays ot be friends with one of their old family friends!! It's normally like 250 colored.

we got a deal with ours as well. my husband used to be in radio. he was a disc jockey for like nine years. so we knew everyone in town. the best artist was a good friend of his and he gave us awesome deals. i got the one on my ankle for free cuz it was a slow night.

i want mine pierced but i teach at a private preschool and i already have to remove nose ring before i get to work, and i have heard that with an eyebrow, you cant remove it for any length of time and still have it stay open.

i think eye brow piercings vary. my friend Steve's looked terrible i thought. But my cousin's looked very nice. i just went to see the guy who is doing my tattoo today about designs and what not. We are designing my lower right arm as a scroll and on the inner part of my arm will be a skull and cross bones type deal with the words " For Those I love I will sacrifice....". surrounding details yet to be contempated.

Yea my next tattoo is a portait of Ireland with the southern half of it the colors of the Irish Flag and on the top in gothic letters and in gailic it saying "Love THy Homeland"

ha winkie. which winkie piercing? Ampallan or Prince Albert ? ha. my cousin had a prince albert. the tattoo shop had a funny thing going on if you were man enough to get a cigar band tattooed around your winkie and pay for i ( $60 ) they would give you any other tattoo you wanted no matter how long it took and how big it was for free.

it was a prince albert. my friends girlfriend (they were both wannabe gothic) and he were having sex in a graveyard.. when she took out a galvanized nail and stabbed him in his winkie. He still has it to this day . and he liked it apparently... sheesh .. i remember crying like a little girl when i got mine done.

labret hurts less than ears.Conch hurts a lot more. cos its thick cartiledge. pops too.

Out of all my piercings, the only one I would actually say hurt was my belly button...lol :p

All depends where you get the labret. If it is in the middle it barely even tickles because it goes between the two muscles, however on the sides it has to pierce through the muscle. I know my two offset labrets gave me quite the little pinch :p and took forever to heal because of the location......

yes linds i guess you are right. a friend of mind has both sides done while I only have the center. but any how mine did not hurt. i though stretching my ears hurt cos i was doing it a stupid way which was just shoving bigger sizes in ha. then i got smart at a 6 an started wrapping tape around the ones i already had in every two days.since then its been painless up to a half inch

ha hatebreed. I've seen them so many times. ever since under the knife came out. you know their drummer, Rigg Ross, used to play in this local band called self decay right from poughkeepsie here where i live. Self Decay was somewhat bad but i still loved their shows and singing along. Rigg was cool. always talked to the fans after shows. then hatebreed picked him up and we never saw him or self decay again ha. a modern heart break story haha. nah good for him though.success and all.

They are 3/4... well, the other one is a little smaller because it has "cats a$$" syndrome; I've had to stop stretching the left one at 3/4 a few years ago because the right is having too much trouble catching up. I've been stretching them since '95.

Hehehe... they prolly look like 1" 'compared to my teeny tiny self :p I want to stop at 1", and should've reached that size a long time ago if my right ear wasn't such a ....... :mad:

Whats "cat's a$$ syndrome"?

When there is trauma to the ear and the scar tissue prevents is from stretching - this is (for obvious reasons now :p) commonly referred to in the piercing community as "Cat's a$$ syndrome". A long time ago I bought a new plug and the piercer offered to put it in for me, so I figured sure why not, well didn't he just scrape the inside of my ear out in the process :eek: That was the end of that......my ear has virtually no give to it at all :(

I have my tongue pierced and normal piercings in each ear as well as a surface eyebrow piercing...
As for tattoos, I have none. I've put in several years of thought into what I want to get, but I think I'll consider it for a while longer, at least until I get enough money to be able to afford to get it done well...for something so permanent, I want to make sure I pick a design that I'll still like in 20 years.

yeah linds I guess they do look like 3/4. I'm stopping at 3/4 i think. i had cats a$$ syndrome at like a 6 guage ha and ended up basically scraping it out and bleeding all over. i stopped just shoving bigger guages through. that hurt too much. i started wrapping electrical tape around my 6's and gradually moved up. my latest pair i made myself. 1/2" wooden dowels painted black and then sealed with polyeurethane. i like em. and it was like 4 bucks as opposed to spending 40 for store bought. i also used the rest of the dowel or my snake cages. i basically had to re pierce my labret today. i had taken it out because of my job and lost it for like 2 months and i just found it today and shoved it through haha, I'll wait and get a ring again. luckily it never fully healed so it feels fine now. but man did that tickle at first.

Rattlekonigin: I got my tribal piece done at "Tattomania" by Pierre in Montreal. I know of "Imago" and have heard they do good work but I'm a faithful Pierre follower now. You should have seen what was under the tribal piece, it's a miracle he was able to do such a great job. I believe my cover up is in Pierre's portfolio book, maybe you saw it there?
