glossy paint and clear coat

hey, i'm looking for any suggestions on brands of glossy paint and clear coat. this will be applied over birch or similar plywood. i am going for a glossy black look that would be water resistant. these are for desert snakes, so humidity retention isn't a big deal. i'm also looking for as little outgassing as possible. thanks!

I would use an acrylic based brush on paint like you would use to paint your living room.

Any reputable home supply carries a vast array of colours, including gloss black.
