What type of python?
when they say "phase" it can mean a few things, some types of snakes like gtp's start off red or yellow then change, some other snakes like retics can be called things like "white phase albino" this means that the snake is an albino, but its on a pure white background instead of lavender or purple.

clark strain albino white phase

altered picture of a purple, still looks fantastic
It really depends on the type of snake though.
What type are you refering to?

Pretty much all GTP's end up green or blue unless you get a VERY high end and EXPENSIVE morph that can stay yellow for life - if you look in the Morelia Viridis forum section there are pics of my guy (Profile:Hogan) showing his start and current colourings.

and when you say your getting a pair i hope you know you cant get GTP sex until they are a year old only a few breeds sex there snakes young and if you get a GTP that is sexed under a year old you better make should they know what they are doing BC they can mess up alot of things if they do it wrong.

I never heard of a Garden Phase GTP. I only heard of Garden Phase Tree Boas. There's a really big differences in the price. I make sure of what your getting. You don't want to pay for a GTP and get a Tree boa that runs for a third of the price. I even did a search and the only Garden Phase i could fine was Tree Boas. I could be wrong, but i would do some more research if i were you.

yes i know garden phase is from a tree boa related topic.. i was just cross ref so ppl would have some idea of what im talking about..
Yes a pair.. idc of the sex they will be housed seperatly.. and i dont want them sexed until over a year of age..
what do i need to look for to ensure im getting a high end morph that will stay yellow or red or orange.. and price is no matter..
thx for the info.. keep it coming

You need to see parents and buy from the most reputable breeder you can find - there are lots of unscrupulous people who will be "gone" by the time the snake has its colour change so there will be no comeback.

there is a forum out there that has the high end breeds on there but i cant remember the name, there is a Yellow GTP its called Kofiau or Canary they are going to run you about 1,000 to 3,000
edit: found it just at them they will point you in the right way of a great breeder
