Went out looking for snakes today, and found this little guy eating a small fish, took him home to show a friend, gona feed it a feeder goldfish then release it tomorrow.

Forgot to mention, its a water scorpion, sometimes called a flying water scorpion.

make sure you keep it in the water you found it in and if you have it more than 24 hours change the water.

Just let it go lol, it flew into my fish tank when i took it out for a cleaning, and id prefer it doesn't kill em lol.

I've had way worse lol, water scorpions aren't as bad as getting hit by a wave and getting smashed into a coral wall, then getting 310-320 sea urchin spines removed from your rear/lower back.
Fun times, wooo.

I got owned by a riptide once!! but neither compare to a evil water scorpion!!!

I think it was a riptide anyways, was in Hawaii a wave knocked me to the sand under water pinned me down and then sucked me out underwater. All I had to do was stand up but I was getting tossed around so much and dragged against coral so much I didn't know I was in 4+ feet of waters.

It could have just been the current close to a reef normally rip tides pull you out to sea instead of tossing you around, they are much more of a constant pulling that you may or may not actually feel, half the time you are just swimming and you look around and you've gone 20-30 feet farther then you expected.

Not sure why i wrote 310-320... it was only about 150 spines.
