Man oh man, I've been an admirer of JCP's for a couple of years but never made the jump, found this IJ girl and had to have her, picked up a adult male also so I can try breeding them next year

Is she a stunner or what? Can't believe how sexy these are

Can't get a pic of the male cause he's deep in blue right now

I have never heard of a carpet python with high yellows like that, is it the Irian? I don't know carpet pythons well enough to know 1 locality from another.

very nice example mate

i'm working with an irian reduced pattern specific line bred pair of F2'S i hope to produce some nice F3's with them in a couple of years after that use the female in a 88% irian jag project

imo irian jaya's are very under rated carpets i have found they have slight colour changes depending on the time of day it is and their patterns are very diverse

i look forward to pictures of your male in his new skin

cheers shaun

This is a yearling female (3.5") so there's a pretty good chance she'll darken some as she gets older. I've seen other pics of IJ's that were really close to the same color.

These guys are new to me so I can't answer anything about localities

I'd love to see some pics of your reduced pattern stuff, are they high yellow/reduced pattern? Sexiness!

yes mate they were specifically bred by Ron Winkler in holland for their reduced pattern and unusual high yellow colour.i will do my best to try and get some decent pictures but its really hard to pick their true colour up with my camera.
