Mites and wood!!!

Common sense tells me that if you get mites in a WOODEN enclosure!! You would have to for sure throw it out, but I have no experience with this, I am confident I can get rid of them I've had them in the past. I still thought I would ask you guys. So have any of you ever gotten mites while housing in a wooden enclosure?? am I screwed?? Do I need to throw it out? I think I do but just wanted to make sure because it is a homemade double enclosure that I have put alot of work into boooooo

Again to me it's a dumb question..........mites wood not good lol but I figured I would come here to double check!!

Would freezing it for a few days kill em off?

all you do is treat the enclosure

provent a mite is what i use (it's made in usa)

you put the snake and water bowl in a seperate room

take out viv contents

spray contents and viv with provent a mite problem solved its that simple

after 2 hours you put the viv contents the snake and water bowl back in viv

wash water bowl with hot soapy water before replacing in viv

provent a mite has always worked first time everytime for me with no need for repeat treatments that some other products require

i spray my quarintine viv's the night before any new snakes arrive as a preventative measure

with provent a mite remaining active for 30 days it out lasts the life cycle of the mites.

it kills the mites but don't touch the eggs until they hatch when it instantly kills the newly hatched mite dead...!!

a can lasts a very long time and does a lot of viv's i swear by it and have never had the need to use anything else imo a top product that does exactley what it says on the can
